Dermatological Ultrasound

It consists of taking a specialized ultrasound of the most superficial structures of the body, including the skin, hair and nails. We use high-resolution transducers with highly sensitive Doppler to better evaluate lesions in the dermis and subcutaneous tissue.

This service allows us to make precise differential diagnoses and better evaluate the flow within the lesions, to guide us as to whether a lesion has benign or malignant characteristics, which translates into better delimiting the lesions in their depth and the evaluation of the lymph nodes adjacent to the lesions or at a distance, for oncology patients.

For patients with aesthetic problems, we differentiate the type of fillers used, vascular or infectious complications that the fillers may have and, at the same time, guide certain treatments to improve the aesthetic prognosis.

In addition, we can guide the treatment of certain pathologies, for example, in inflammatory pathology, we can be precise with the injection of medications into fistulas. Also, in aesthetic dermatological ultrasound, we can drain connections, whether granulomas or others, after performing aesthetic procedures. We can also guide hyaluronidase, specifically for hyaluronic acid nodes that are causing vascular problems.
